Verano Place Towers Sublease/Assignment (May-June 2025)

Hi all, I will be graduating in early May from my grad program and I am looking for someone to take over the remainder of my lease - approximately moving in May 11th or 12th and staying until the end of June. It is technically an assignment more than... a sublease because it will be for the remainder of my lease term. Here's some more info:

- The apartment is Verano 8 Towers, the newest apartments in grad housing. I live in a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom with a roommate on the 7th floor.
- According to UCI you must be one of the following groups described here: "The sub‐tenant must be affiliated with UCI (not UCI Extension). Sub‐tenants must be a UCI graduate student, medical student, professional student, law student, a UCI undergraduate student 25 years of age or older or a UCI student with a partner or a child. GFH Housing may consider junior or senior undergraduate students required to be on campus for summer classes or in paid UCI positions during the summer as a secondary population only after all eligible populations listed above has been exhausted and if they are eligible to live on campus."
- You will have one roommate - he's nice, quiet, clean, and usually gone weekends, through the end of June.
- Verano Towers has no A/C, but they do have ceiling fans in every room.
- I can show pictures of the place but you will have a fridge, stove, oven, microwave (we bought), shared shower/toilet, and sink.
- I will be clearing most of my room BUT if you would like, I can leave behind a table, chair, bedframe, mattress, and dresser.
- It's possible to transfer a parking space to you albeit some paperwork is required - let me know if this is something you would like.
- Total rent for the two months will be about $2000, pro-rated for move in.

Please let me know if you or someone else eligible is interested, and remember it is only until end of June!

Amenities:
- The rent includes wifi/ethernet/high-speed internet, electricity, utilities, etc.
- There is NO IN-UNIT LAUNDRY, but there are laundry machines on the first floor of every tower. You are responsible for your own laundry.
- There are landfill and recycling disposal chutes on every floor by the elevators.
- There are stairs, elevators, and study rooms. There are additional study rooms, a water refill station, and a TV on the first floor.
- The Verano Towers area has a nearby community center with A/C, study spaces, bathrooms, lounges, billiards, ping-pong tables, and grills. There is no mailbox use during your stay, and all Amazon packages are delivered to the community center, not the apartment itself.
- Nearby half-court basketball court, volleyball court, and community garden.
- Parking in any of the nearby lots and Verano Garage Structure.
- 2 minute walk to Campus Plaza (Albertson's, Starbucks, Habit, Del Taco, etc.) and bus stops. 10 minute walk to the ARC (gym). 10-15 minute walk to campus and UTC (Target, Trader Joes, lots of restaurants and shops, etc.).

Please contact me if you have any additional questions or would like to check it out for yourself!
